ABChimie DVA 1L
DVA is a solvent blend designed for use with all conformal acrylic-based coatings.
It is particularly used for AVR80 BA acrylic coating. Thinners are mainly used to dilute coatings intended for use in dip or spray coating applications.
DVA R is a specific thinner that allows you to reduce the amount of thinner in the mixture with AVR80 BA in order to obtain a greater thickness on the printed circuit board when you spray with a gun (1:1 mixture).
APPLICATION
Spray coating
When solvent-based coatings are sprayed, the higher pressure at the nozzle forces the solvent in the coating to evaporate. Therefore, to prevent cobwebbing (i.e., the coating drying immediately after leaving the spray gun), additional solvent must be added.
DVA should be used at ratios between 2:1 and 1:1 (coating:thinner) depending on the application. To prevent microbubbles from forming in the coating, wait 2 minutes before spraying .
