ABChimie DVA BA

DVA BA is a non-toxic solvent blend designed for all acrylic protective coatings. It is particularly used for AVR80 BA acrylic coating. This thinner is primarily used to dilute coatings for dipping and spraying. DVA BA R is a specific thinner that allows you to reduce the amount of thinner in the mixture with AVR80 BA to achieve a greater thickness on the printed circuit board when spraying with a gun (1:1 mixture).

APPLICATION
Spray coating.
When spraying solvent-based coatings, the higher pressure at the nozzle forces the solvent to evaporate. Therefore, to prevent the cobweb effect (i.e., the coating being dry immediately after spraying), the addition of solvent is necessary. DVA BA should be used at ratios between 3:1 and 1:1 (coating:thinner) depending on the application. To prevent microbubbles from forming in the coating, wait 2 minutes before spraying.

The avalanche transceiver
DVA BA can be used to maintain the viscosity of acrylic protective coatings in open tanks used for dip coating. Over time, the solvent in the coatings evaporates, increasing the coating viscosity and resulting in a thicker coating. This solvent loss must be compensated for to maintain the proper viscosity and achieve an economical coating thickness. In most systems, a weekly measurement of the coating viscosity is sufficient. DVA BA is a flammable solvent and must be used in a well-ventilated area, especially away from any source of ignition.
