Copper desoldering braid spools for removing solder from printed circuit boards. They are supplied in an anti-static case and require no cleaning after desoldering thanks to their copper braid coated with a special halide-free synthetic resin.
The solder is absorbed rapidly, leaving only a negligible amount of residue which is non-corrosive and non-hygroscopic.
